Who supplied what to Subbuteo

Page under construction

An important part of the game was the supplier chain. This does not seem to have interested other writers to date who have skimmed across the flat era. We should remember that the original idea of Peter Adolph was to assemble a kit of bought-in parts in his mother's house, not necessarily embark on full scale production of table soccer.

I think the best way to record information on who made what will be on an Excel spreadsheet. This will be very lightly populated to start with as there is no source that I have so far come across for this information. There are names and places that are sometimes mentioned but little or no information about what was produced there or whether they were part of the company or independent suppliers. Examples would include:

Chiddingstone Causeway
Frant Road
Mount Ephraim
Paddock Wood (moulding?)
Rockville Road
Wadhurst
Warwick Park

The names of the companies in Maidstone, Bridport (nets?) and Manchester (pitches?)

I very much need the input of older collectors or anyone associated with the company or a supplier.
